This is a workshop that will make direct connections between drawing and designing for print.
Kelly will show many examples which illustrate her approach to screenprinting using a wide range of direct drawing and source material.
This 1 day workshop offers an opportunity to focus on mark making and drawings with the theme of Australian Flora. Tutor Kelly Stewart has recently spent some time in her native country and has brought back samples of Australian Flora that she’s collected during her stay, especially for this workshop.
Students will learn how to combine layers of mark making by using a range of materials to draw and paint directly onto film.
