We have two in-house gallery spaces where artwork is shown in curated exhibitions or displayed on a permanent and rolling basis: our studio space, The Drawing Room and Swansea Printmakers, our dedicated digital exhibition site which was set up in 2020. Work created through projects, from our connections to the wider printmaking world and artists, and not least the exciting work by our members are exhibited in these spaces.
The Drawing Room
A selection of work by our members is on permanent display in The Drawing Room and more work can be viewed in the wider studio area and in browsers too.
We hold two exhibitions in the summer and winter to showcase work by members. Other in-house or visiting exhibitions may also take place in the year.
Visits to the studio are currently by arrangement only. Please contact us by email before you visit to avoid disappointment.

Swansea Printmakers
Both new and archive work is on display in our dedicated digital exhibition space. This is a fantastic way to view the range of work created through SPW, illuminating the diverse and exciting artform that printmaking is.
Visit, for example, our exhibition 20 YEARS of PRINTMAKING @ Swansea Print Workshop where we celebrate work from printmakers past and present who have been associated with the Workshop during this time.
Work by members is highlighted in exhibitions such as Judith Stroud, Material Matters and Sally Hands – Breathing Life into Wood Engraving. There are interviews with some selected artists alongside the exhibitions which give insight into their working practice and printmaking processes.
Specially curated exhibitions offer new perspectives and conversations on printmaking and drawing such as Drawn from Life and The Great Outdoors … new conversations.
