Two-day workshop | ****** RESCHEDULED FROM NOVEMEMBER 2024****** – Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 January 2025 | 10:00 – 16:30 | 6 places only

This two-day course will offer participants the opportunity to translate their own drawings into a 5 colour print by using a range of materials to draw and paint directly onto film. The hand generated layers will be exposed onto the screen and screenprinted layer by layer. Kelly will guide you through the process of building up layers of opaque and transparent layers to create the image.
Knowledge from Mark Making in Screenprinting workshop can be developed in this 2-day workshop.
About the Artist
Kelly has exhibited work in Australia, Ireland, Norway, USA, Switzerland and throughout the UK in exhibitions such as the Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts and the Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh. In 2012 she was awarded Printfest’s Printmaker of the Year Award.

About the Studio
here are some facilities for making a hot drink, microwave if you would like to bring along your lunch.
We are close to the main shopping centre and supermarket.
Parking is free all day outside the studio on Sundays only. 3 hour parking is available outside of the controlled city centre zone. There are also multiple long stay car parks in the town centre.
PLEASE NOTE | If you are not a member and are considering more workshops with us, you might like to consider joining as an ordinary member for £25 and enjoy considerable savings on further workshops. Once you have joined you can book in straightaway at the reduced rate. For this two-day workshop you will pay £140 instead of £160. Additionally you will be able to use the workshop on open access sessions to pursue work independently.
