Swansea Print Workshop

I was born in England and my early years were spent in Africa. I returned to Britain and completed a Fine Art degree at the West of England College of Art, Bristol. I moved to Wales and after a career in teaching art, I am now concentrating on own artistic interests.

My interest in printmaking processes is often key to the direction of my work, and my choice of subject is frequently influenced by my current preoccupation. Intaglio and collagraph processes continue to fascinate me. I am also drawn to the painterly approach of monotype, as well as many relief processes such as wood engraving, Japanese wood block, and multi block linocuts.

My subject matter often returns to the natural world. Living in Wales, the landscape has a profound effect on my work.

My original prints are in many private and public collections.
