Swansea Print Workshop

I was born and brought up in the South Wales Valleys and moved to Swansea at the end of the 1980s and, besotted with the green spaces, beaches and small town feel this is where I have stayed.
Art has been part of my life for as long as I remember. I am inspired by nature, myth, magic, pagan tropes, transformation. Because Beltane signals the beginning of summer, positive change and the unity of masculine and feminine energies the name fits my work and so I have adopted it.
I started printmaking a few years ago. I use my original artwork as the basis for screenprints and lino cut prints.
Each piece I produce starts with an initial idea or image and then grows organically from there. Each piece is individual and represents many hours of focus, energy and the love for what I do.
