In this first exhibition of 2022, we have been mining our archives to gather together artworks that might not have been exhibited together before, pieces that have a relevance to each other and can converse together in a different way.
The Great Outdoors Exhibition looks at artworks that are inspired by the outdoors; nature, landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes and the role of people in an outdoor setting.
The genres include drawing in various media, screenprints, etchings, aquatints, drypoints, monotypes, wood engravings, lino and wood cuts, lithography and collagraphs.
We hope this will introduce you to new artists, new works and new ways of looking at The Great Outdoors.
