Our Members’ Open Exhibitions are just that – open to all members of Swansea Print Workshop! We encourage everyone to participate wherever they are on their creative journey. We pride ourselves in showcasing all work professionally and with a spirit of collaboration by volunteer-members who work hard to put each exhibition on.
Exhibitions are usually held twice yearly, depending on circumstances: a Summer Exhibition and one towards the end of the calendar year. Members’ Open Exhibitions have been previously held at other venues including The Grand Theatre, Swansea but since 2010 have usually been hosted at SPW’s premises, 19a Clarence Street.
In 2010 the Drawing Room and corridors were refurbished as part of our New Creative Dialogues project which created a great exhibition space, opening up capacity for showcasing work.
We hope you enjoy our selection of photographs from our archives below.
Please also visit Swansea Printmakers, our dedicated digital exhibition space which was set up in 2020. Alongside new work, we also showcase archive work with a fresh curatorial approach.
Explore 20 Years @ SPW, our first Digital exhibition which illustrates a timeline of artistic activity and a journey of discovery and innovation through the medium of print.
Join our mailing list or follow us on social media for news on any of our current exhibitions – you can find links to these on our Home Page. Our opening nights at the Studio are always great fun!
