With great sadness we have to announce the death of our long-term Director, printmaker and friend.
It is really sad for us all at the workshop that have known and worked with Lesley over so many years – a fellow printmaker with the same passion for new techniques and new printmakers; a good friend and a very supportive presence in the studio that was much appreciated by new members. Always ready to help with the more onerous tasks as a Director and generous with her professional expertise. We have watched her courage in dealing with illness with great sympathy and admiration. We will miss her.

She was an extremely competent printmaker who reflected the love of her surroundings in the Brecon Beacons with atmospheric etching and collagraph processes.

So very sorry to hear this awful news. Lesley was the first person to teach us how to print using the Bewick, she was always so kind & patient and so very supportive of us newbies. We will cherish those fond memories. Sending our deepest sympathies to all. Yvonne & Kelly ❤
